All Eyes will be on Abstraction at the Abstract Artists of New England Annual Exhibit

May 30, Newburyport, MA

There are abstract artists in New England. In fact, there are talented Abstract and Experimental artists all over the region. The Abstract Artists Group of New England celebrates the abstract in their upcoming group exhibit, “Eye on Abstraction”, at the Newburyport Art Association. The exhibit runs from June 26 through July 8. The opening reception is on June 29, 7-9 PM and will feature the jazzy musical stylings of Barbara London and Rick Kress.

The Abstract Artists Group of New England focuses on the creation and exhibition of abstract and experimental art, primarily painting and sculpture. The group is also a critique group and artists network, creating unique opportunities for creative cross-pollination among artists from the Boston area to Maine. This lively visual discourse among artists is apparent in AAGNE’s group shows.

  3. Looking forward to seeing the new work by Unbound Visual Arts member Regina Valluzzi. The Newburyport Art Association is a well established venue for contemporary art. It will be nice to see some abstracts there.

    • Thanks John – I hope to see you there. I’d love to introduce you to some of the artists. I’ll be debuting some pieces from a series you haven’t seen (a few of the little ones were at BHAW)
